hi elektro guys.
I want to know envelope detection circuit & power detection ciruit.
who have these schematic or diagram.?
please help.

loverrf.

Please provide more details:
What is the operating frequency range?
What is the signal level?
What accuracy do you reuire?

Hi, MonkeyBusiness

Operation signal freq is 2GHz.
envelope frequency Range: 10~30MHz.
signal level: about -20~0dBm.

if you have some schematics, please share it.
thanks.

You can do that with a simple detector diode. Output may be up 50 MHz if proprly designed.

I designed diode detection circuit.
detection circuit's outupt was not clear envelope signal.
it has many high frequecny ripples.
who can solve this problem.
I want clear envelope signal and less time delay.

loverrf.

Hi loverf

You can demodulate the envelope using a diode detector. The key to proper detection is to drive the diode with a high signal level, -20dBm will not suffice, you need something in the order of 10dBm. The harder you drive the diode, the more envelope (i.e. rectified) power you'll get.
A typical diode you can use is the HSMS-28xx series from HP, but other alternatives are available.
After the diode you should have a filter, to filter out the desired envelope signal and reject the 2GHz carrier. This filter will probably consist of some printed part to reject the 2GHz, and some lumped part to pass the 10-30MHz signal.
If you have access to a non-linear simulation tool you can do some experimentation before actual circuit assembly.

sorry, I do not attache the PDF file
here , I attache the file.
