winpic800 jdm

There are many seller on ebay claim that their JDM support following
SO MANY CHIPS. Is this true ??

I just use Microchip F-type EEPROM chips. I am not using C-type EPROM chips.

I just know that the burning input voltage (MCLR) are different for F-type and
C-type. Also , too little burning input voltage will not erase EEPROM fast enough.

Please give me advise !

jdm pic programmer

Hi !

I use the JDM programmer (that I built). Look that the programming voltage supplied by the JDM circuit + serial levels is 13.3V (two zeners 5.1V and 8.2V in series). This voltage complies with the most of the PIC uCs (flash and non flash). To be sure, check the datasheets of each model. In general there is no problem about it. The main problem is when reprogramming already programmed devices that can work with internal oscillator. So this may be happen with some models.

When someone ads a JDM like programmer, it lists all the devices he knows. But is is not true, for sure he did not tested all models he lists.
