Encryption and encoding - latest research?

Many researchers are working on combination of encryption and encoding. What is the future in this domain and which are the latest research going on?
 

There is no future, all encryption methods are already known, they will just call them with a new name and tell pay more, like they do for pills and everything else.
 

What are the new research domain in LDPC coding?
What about combining channel coding and encryption techniques together?
