EMMC replacement

Hello everybody. I am repairing boat chartplotter. So i need some advice. Let's say we have same manufacturer, only different sizes of screen. 7" screens have the same hadware board as 12" chartplotter. This one i received is 12", i found out that EMMC is gone. I have spare EMMC, but from 7" touch screen. I know it is maybe difficult to answer, but maybe someone knows better. What kind of data it ususlly contains, is it possible that EMMC from 7" chartplotter will do on 12". Everything is the same on the boards except 12" is got 2 memory chips more that are fine. What dou you think?
