Embedded RTOS Vs Embedded Kernel programming

Please guide me (if possible) the difference between RTOs and Kernel Programming???

RTOS stands for: Real Time Operating System.
Kernel is a part (the core) of an operating system.

Thanks for reply, I just more elaborate my question. In market lot of stuff available such as Qnx, Vxware, Windows CE and Freertos (real time kernel). What is the main difference

There're 2 possible job descriptions that may be relevant to your question:

1. A programmer who is experienced in writing applications and/or device drivers that are intended to run on a specific Real Time OS such as QNX/Win CE/VxWorks etc...

2. A programmer who is experienced in the design of the actual Kernel - you can call him: "Kernel designer".
