currently i am working on making an Elevator controller Using PIC 18 series
I need
1 - Wiring diagrams for actual elevator controllers
2 - any document on Elevator logic
3 - Your Ideas

it's very simple try it by your self

first plan it - check it's algorithm & design it
just attention you have to micro switch in each floor & 2 sensor for doors

If want to work it proffessionaly first you have to define The I/O
and this the main problem (I/O has three levels the first is saftey a second motor control third floors)

floors has 1 ) floor dector and floor register

more you know how contact I aready made one using 16fxx
