optocoupler mosfet

hi,,how do i connect properly the optocoupler with IRF350 mosfets that would control an 8Amps, 220v Ac Motor??
my problem is i dont know how to properly connect the optocoupler to the gate of the IRF350 mosfet..

pls post any schematics that would help me...

thanks n advance...

optocoupler switch

Please refer the data sheet fot IRF350 attached.
The ratings will help you plan how to go about.
You are using AC motor.

irf350

i alreaady read the datasheet of that mosfet...if you have any circuit that would help my problem pls. post it..thank you..

i posted an atachement. pls. evaluate this circuit if you think this would possibly work before i may buy this components..just to be sure a little.

.

optocoupler

Hi Romel,
max Vo of 6N137 is 7V acc to datasheet. You should use an IPM type optocoupelr, where Vo can be up to 20V or 30V. Check, for example, ACPL-P456 or HCPL-4506.

I should look your circuitry again in detail for further points.

Cheers
