I need to be able to control power (VIN) ON OFF by using signal or pulse. 1 for on 0 for off or the other way around is fine. I do not want to use any relays. The Vin can be from 1.8V to 2.5V. 100-200mA max current. The control signal would be around 4V +- 0.5V. I am thinking of P channel MOSFET since this has to be a high side switch. I am totally new at this any help in right direction would be great. Part #'s diagrams etc...

Thanks,

Dado

Great thanks, do you have any mosfet part# I could use for this application?

Try SI4435 or similar.
Package: SOIC8, Imax=8A, Rds=0.02Ω, Vds=30V
or if you prefer TO220 package or D2PAK:
IRF5303

U can find this book "Pulse and Switching Waveform"
I think it will be easier with some logic gate
