Hi,

I recently read a report about some 'electromagnetic gun' which when targetted at computers could damage it beyond repair. (it worked for any electronic device for that matter)

The electromagnetic spectrum contains high frequency radiation such as gamma rays, and high amplitude radiation such as Radio waves, what kind of radiation is damaging for the computer?

as I know, DRAM are sensitive to alpha particle, which will "kill" them.
