Effect on ambient temperature on Battery (lead acid, AGM, lithium)

Most of the manufacturers state the number of cycles for batteries at a temperature of 27 degree celsius. My question, how will the batteries (Lead acid,AGM,lihtium) be affected when charged/operated at ambient temperatures above 27 degree Celsius, and at negative temperatures (-4 to -10 degree celsius) . Will the backup time get reduced ?

* I've only seen general advice, 'keep a battery cool to maximize its useful life'.

* A battery heats up when you run high current through it (charging or discharging). In this case the ambient temperature may become secondary to other factors, as far as affecting its length of life.

* The acid in a lead-acid battery becomes weaker as it discharges. Then it will freeze at a sufficiently cold temperature. The battery may be ruined. There may be charts telling what temperature is safe for a given acid concentration, but it's difficult to match that to real depth of discharge.
