effect of removing capacitor from circuit ?

in this circuit i've found out the function of every component except the effect on the circuit on removing each capacitor.

what will be the effect on circuit if i remove C4,C5,C6,C7,C8,C9 ??
i already designed the circuit on a Breadboard and it is working perfectly fine but i could not understand the purpose of every resistor on the circuit

i know the basics of capacitor but i don't know the specific purpose in this circuit ,
i.e , C3 is used to sense the mobile signals (as mentioned in the circuit report) but when i'm removing C3 my circuit is still working ??
every capacitor is used to store charges in a circuit but my circuit works when i am removing some of these capacitors :s

Obviously, it's different in each case :smile:

For the capacitors around NE555 (C7 - C9), simply consult a datsheet. For CA3130 it's more difficult. The C5 purpose is explained in a datasheet. But C6 is strictly contradicting OP circuit design recommendations, (also C3, by the way). I guess, even the originator of this circuit can't tell exactly, what he's doing here. Consequently, the effect of removing these parts can't be predicted as well.
