eda competition

To promote the development of autonomous robotic technologies, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is conducting an autonomous robot race from Los Angeles to Las Vegas in 2004. This compitition is based in America but the rules allow for foriegn team members or partnerships but primary team must be ressident in America.

Please fellow elektroda members have a look at the info and possibly set up a team. For now any keen interest can be put forward via either PM or simple reply to the post

As a guide the following skills will be required

Team members for hard/soft ware, mechanical design/build, electrical wiring , hydraulics, machining / welding skills in steel/aluminum/titanium other skills pertaining to robotics and or anyone who just plain wants to help with this effort.
