Hello,

I was just evaluating an sheet metal housing ECU design from internet , which is a two PCB design. The connectors seems plastic housing, but over the connectors it seems a metal plate structures are kept. Also the connector areas are separated by a ground track in PCB it seems.

I would like to know the purpose of metal structure over connectors and the ground tract surrounding connector areas. If by experience any one can help it will be most welcome.

Thanks
