My apologies, Problem now solved......i had accidentally put a via inside the testpoint via....the white shading was from the DRC.....running another DRC after fixing the problem made it disappear.

Hello,

I have component which is just a 0.6mm drill, PTH via, and its used as a test point, connected to ground, .....Eagle has surrounded it with a white shaded lined pattern, in the shape of a circle, with diameter slightly bigger than the via itself.....

Why is this via surrounded with this pattern?, none of the other test point vias are surrounded like this....none of the other vias are surrounded like this.
