Hello,

I am using Eagle pro, and i am finding that when terminating a trace on a pad, the trace isnt snapping to connect to the pad......do you know how i can make the trace snap to the pad?

There is a 'snap length' in the settings. If that is smaller than your grid then you may have problems so try increasing 'snap length'.

I find that the mix of component pitches (from 0.4mm to maybe 2.54mm on the same PCB) you have to accept that components are "off grid" and just make sure you set a suitable routing grid and a snap length which suits the routing grid. Normally I would have routing grid less than the component pitch.
