If there are two inputs given like ON and OFF given which states the time the pulse is on and off respectively . How to calculate duty_in? Example ON=4 and OFF =4

Hi,

if by "two given inputs" are the signal values of a SINGLE input signal are meant, than the duty cycle can be determined by

D = \[\frac{{t}_{ON}}{{t}_{ON}+ {t}_{OFF}}\].

Which leads to a duty cycle of 0.5 or 50 % for your example.
