dspic internal oscillator

Hi,

I want to run my dsPIC30F4011 in maximum speed (120MHz).
So i choose a 7,5Mhz crystal/resonator and set the PLL to x16.

But.. there are no 7,5MHz crystals or resonators.
It seems all crystal series skip the value 7,5 MHz.

OK, i choose 15MHz and set PLLx8.. What no 15MHz either??
Hmm.. I can choose 30MHz and set PLLx4, (they do manufature 30MHz)
but i don´t know if the PLL supports 30MHz.
The datasheet says it does in one place, and in another that 10MHz is max????

Have anyone used the PLL in dsPICs over 10MHz??

Thanks,
Mateo.

dspic pll

dsPIC30F4011 has already an Internal Oscillator (same with other dsPICs).

I've aleady tried 40MIPs on a dsPIC33F using its internal 7.37 MHz osc with PLL.

dspic osc setting

Use a 7.3728Mhz xtall and PLL16.

This is a easy available xtall frequency and
good for to get perfect UART baudrates.
