Hi friends...

i need a dsp for my voice recognition home project,

are there a dsp that already built with voice recognition code, so i can use it directly and connect it to my project?

also, what is the cheapest and easiest dsp i can use in voice recognition??

dear loyaci

Processing at voice recognition is not so hard like in image recognition.
So, even with a fixed point core, you can acheive good results.

My sugestion is DSPIC.
I don´t know about code examples, but there are a wide community using that IC.

thank you alot andre for the information.

can i use voice recognition kit such as SR-07 Speech Recognition circuit? to control a stepper motor or any devices?

or the DSPIC will be a great choose ?

loyaci,

I don´t have experience concerning voice processing, only image processing.
But I know that there exists a lot of algorithms and level of complexity in that area.
It depends of target application of detection ( characters, phonems, words, phrases ).
