I ordered a couple of Si4730 radio modules to experiment with.
The listing says they are marked 3020, and also mentions Bhf1913.
I'm finding it difficult to find anything that states exactly what frequencies this device covers.
I got them as and want to use them for am and fm broadcast bands.
Does anyone have any experience with these modules?

Look at the Silicon Labs data sheet (the top response for my Google search for 'Si4730') right at the top of page 1 (left column):
- FM 64-108MHz
- AM 520-1710 KHz
There are other frequencies mentioned for the Si4734/35 in the SW and LW bands.

A part marked 3020, as shown in some internet product photos is hardly an original Silabs part which looks like below. No idea if it's compatible in any regard.

It is a 3020.
Looking for a datasheet for it just comes back with a dab tuner IF chip.
So I spose the only way to find out is to try it with a 4730 library.

Yes, hopefully it's a register compatible clone.

Yes in the text its says the Si4730D60 has all the bands including SSB, as does the Si4702 and the Si4705 which also has Rds on FM.
The 3060 is a copy if the Si4730D60, and the 3020 is a copy of the most basic Si4730 and only has FM & MW,
My version is marked 3020, so its the lowly version.
