DSP Embedded Hardware

Hi all...

I am embedded s/w engg but new to h/w
I am supposed to design a digital board for an hand held device.

1. It has a DSP with ADC's connected in I2C. I am planning to use Analog/TI processors.
2. In my application I have to store all the raw data in the memory for analyzing off-line. Data size is in GBs. Which memory will be apt for my design? (both in cost, size and power consumption wise)? How will I take the data out from the memory? (thru RS232 ? or USB?)

Plz help...
Thnx a lot in advance...
