ds1687-5 on pic

Hello all,

Is there anyone has an experience with DS1687 or DS1685 using PIC microcontrollers?

I need a sample, please.

Regards.

Hi

I have used the ds1687-5 with pic16f874.

Will scratch out some source for you , and get back to you.

This code is a bit of a mess, but have a look.

You should rather use DS1307.
Only 8-pin device
Only 2 pins (I2C)
Less than half the price.

That's very kind of you Raticus. Great!

I know the difference between DS1687 and the others. I can't remember why but I bought some DS1687's. As this one requires a lot of pins, I must spend more expensive uC.

I personnaly recommend DS1375 with DS32KHz.

Is there anything special with DS1687?
