driver for an usb port ICD2

icd2 driver

please i need a driver for my ICD2 usb port????????

Instal MPLAB IDE founded in microchip.com, after open the folder: ....Microchip\MPLAB IDE\ICD2\Drivers and You can find the drivers for icd2!

Hi,
This driver is contains with any MPLAB installation. Look on
C:\Program Files\Microchip\MPLAB IDE\ICD2\Drivers you'll find the driver and the installation instructions.

microchip icd2 driver

do not connect the ICD2 before install the MPLAB, then connect the ICD2 and put the path ...MPLAB IDE\ICD2\Drivers for the drivers.

Then do crazy things with the PICs :D

thanks a lot guys but that's my problem there is no driver in the directory!!!!
also i don't think that my ICD2 is from microchip ( yeah i'm not sure) it's writting on it

unless it's in a big round blue tin it aint from Microchip.
If this is what it looks like it's a serial ICD2, the USB port is only for power.

Hi,
Real microchip ICD2 or clone, it isn't any problem !!!
The ICD2's module works only with MPLAB. When you make MPLAB installation, be sure you've selected ICD2 tools on the setup option
