DPDCH in the uplink for UMTS

in UMTS, the higher the data bit rate, the smaller the SF and higher the trasmit power.

in the case of uplink, we can have a maximum of 6 DPDCH channels and one DPCCH.

can these 6 DPDCH have different SF or they need to have same SF?

Second regarding the spreading code numbers , eg. spreading code number 2 = SF 8 but for SF 4 we have speading code number as 1 , {1,2} , {1,2,3} why is it so?
