Hi,
Will you please tell me the step, so that I can attach the below mentioned words(in bold) in my reply post...

Did you find this post helpful? Click: Yes

Regard,
Mohammed Ibrahim.

he..he.
This line will be there under all your posts. Its just that you cannot see that. All the users cannot see this line under their post...!!!

If you still want to add, then: Add this line as your signature, available as a setting in your profile.

As has already been said - it is there on all your posts for other people to click on. You cannot rate your own posts so you cannot see it. Adding it to your signature would be pointless and repetitious.

That's odd; the "helped me" button only seems to work in certain threads.

For example, I don't see it under any of the posts in this thread, or any of these threads:

https://www.edaboard.com/threads/292947/

However, I do see it in these threads:
https://www.edaboard.com/threads/294291/
https://www.edaboard.com/threads/290713/
https://www.edaboard.com/threads/297897/

:-?
It is disabled in some sections of the forum such as "About EDAboard" and it is disabled for the first post, but I must admit I don't know why it is disabled on "Other Engineering". It is disabled on "Education", probably because the education section is for discussion rather than "help". There is an argument for scrapping the "helped" system which has been discussed before as it seems to be abused by some people. If it didn't exist, no one could abuse it!

Keith.
