Dose m*ultisim2001 simulation reliable ?

thanks

bobi

it is very good i use it

also you can do all regular lab thing on it, such as electronic lab

you should be able to download it using the p2p software, such as kazza

If you use high current it is better that you controll the result

there was an old talk about EWB & Multisim , you can search the forum for it.

I think it will be really cool when you are in the begining of SPICE usage , but as a reliable use , I don't recommend it

But , seek also many answers before you take a decision

For granted, multisim 2001 is not at all a reliable software

:arrow: its such a shame that idiots write this app;

it hasnt changed much or improved since they added there spice engine in 1983

lets face it,

the pcb side of things is good however it costs a fortune
and there are better apps at far cheeper prices

EWB used to charge $15,000 for there professional package
and another $15,000 for ultiboard

so its just a pitty its so crap after over 20 years on the road

most stuff improves with age .. like bono from U2 or paveroti and fine wine.... good whiskey

however multisim just gets more cluttered with rubbish and useless tools

the app is written using MFC so this says heeps to me why more stuff hasnt been fixed, debugged or added in, basicaly since 2001; and its now 2005.

well i downloaded the 2005 version from there site a few weeks ago,

and its exactly the same .

overall reliability isnt an issue

its usability that is more important,
and ive seen many people compalin on online eboards
and there own support site that there results they get
from known stuff are wrong.

hye guys...right now i'm trying to simulate my fm transmitter using the multisim 10....

after i hit the run bar..these kind of mesgg will appear...

'SIMULATION PARAMETER RESET OPTION CANT BE SET UNTIL A CIRCUIT HAD BEEN LOADED;...

i cant find any solution
