Does the bias circuit need to operate in saturation region?

Does the bias circuit need to operate in saturation region?
If I let it in linear region, okay?

the mirror need to operate in saturation region.

Which transistor did not need to operate in saturation region?
 

In the circuit pmos cascode current mirror act as a load for nmos current mirror. here all transistors should be in saturation.
