Hi

First download it from :

1. h**p://ngspice.sourceforge.net/

then look at its features and supporting models.

tnx

hi,
Ng-spice rework-14 has bsim3/bsim4 deivce models, and has temperature and
resistance sweeps (something similar to parametric analysis).

This is the superiority of rework-14 over spice3 (although bsim3/bsim4 can be built
into spice3f4 from the code available from ucb site)

Ng-Spice **intends** to be similar to commercial grade simulators:
With good gui,
Better convergence algorithms (convergence with accuracy is a bitch in spice3)
Different analysis types (like monte-carlo, parametric etc)
and other features.

Ng-Spice *is* similar to spice3:
Is derived from generic spice3 (the code is completly rewritten in ng-spice).
Uses the same newton-raphson method for linearization.
Same user interface.

The current release is dated 10-December-2001 and still very much in
the development stage,IMO for all the intentions to become reality,
it could take some time.
