Pneumatics

Hello:

Does any body have any information about pneumatics? ie.

Linear actuators force, physics, dynamics etc.

Thanks

Hi ssssss
That you needs to know, be more explicit.

pneumatics

I need to know how the force will be distributed if I have this application
ie.

|-----<<F
|
piston --->>> |____<<F
|
|___ << F

How the pressure will be distributed on the F
If I have a 90 psi on the cylinder and the linear actuator have an area of 2 in.

ssssss

use the very simple eq. of force

F=P x A

(F will be equally distributed and so will be opposing force what you call reaction, and if the actuator area is different in this case you should be using the ratio of diff areas accordingly. If the line of action is away from the center then use the force components)

If this is not helpful, be more elaborate and come up either with your exact question or much clear drawing.
