Does all MOSFETs must be saturated?

Hi,
In IC design,example Op=amp, LDO, ADC,DAC....Have all Mosfet must be saturated?and when it can work in linear region?

depend on circuit. if current mirror/sink, all transistor must be in saturation becouse in saturation, drain current is more stable.
 

MOSFET constraint!

We want to use transistors as voltage controlled current sources in analog design. This is only possible when we operate our transistors in saturation ... in the operations where we want to operate transistors as switch we operate them in linear mode.. like in case of sample and hold switch ..
