The picture is not clear.
But it looks like a capacitor
104 = 0.1MicroFarad


Here is the way how to read capacitors of this kind

104 = ABC

A= first digit
B= second digit
C= multiplyer

value read ( in pico farad)= AB * 10 to the power C

to change it to micro miltiply * 10 to the power -6

104 = 10 to the power 5 pico = 10 to the 5 * 10 to the -6 = 0.1microFarad

There is no doubt: it is a capacitor.
A capacitor marked 104 is 10 with 4 more zeros or 100,000pF which is otherwise referred to as a 0.1 uF capacitor.
The letter tolerance code K means tolerance of capacitor +/- 10%.

I THINK THE VOLTAGE SHOULD BE 12V MAX. THE DEVICE IN THE PICTURE IS A SURFACE-MOUNTED CAPACITOR OF 0.1uF SO THE VOLTAGE CANNOT BE TOO HIGH.

Capacitor is an old product of Siemens-Halske. Try to find some old catalogs. Voltage rating is probably 50V.

Dear sir
Thank u very much for your interest but the problem is that i have 7 pieces of this item in the board one of them is burned the others are good. non of the other can give a capacitance reading on the multimetr. its a strange. So i suggest it may a coil and i measured on an impedance analyzer. it gives 0.1 mHenry but the phase angle is nearly zero so, i am not sure that it is a coil.
Note. The board is ANA DAC. and bulit after 1985.

Measure resistance of this element. If low, about few ohms than it is inductor.
