Hello,Why in non monotonic DAC we get DNL>1 i cant see it happening.

The 4th step shows DNL=-2 and positive DNL>1 for next steps if it would be sketched correctly. The criterion for non-monotonicity is actually |DNL|>1.

Criterium is DNL<-1. On the example all codes has DNL=0, instead of 4th one having -2.

With DNL>1, DAC is still monotonic (as definition of monotonicity is always incrementing value for incrementing code)
