DMA 8237 interfacing with pic 18F2455

Hi guys.
So i'm trying to establish a memory-to-memory transfer between 2 RAM(6116) with the help of intel's DMA 8237 and pic 18F2455.
I was able to configure it and i reach a dead end. It shows that the transfer began and it's stuck at reading the data that i want to transfer as shown in the ISIS simulation log and do nothing at all.
ANY HELP PLEASE.
