hi all!

I've a simple question about the schematic of ICD2: why the clock line (called ISP_PGC in potyo2 schematic) is considered bidirectional?

ok, data line must be bidirectional because the programmer have to read-back the written data;
but clock line, as far as I know, is not bidirectional: programmer (master) clocks data in to the PIC (slave)

any idea?
thanks

You are correct, the closk is just an output.
But when drawing a schematic, people do not always pay attention to the type of connector used. I think that is the case here, just using the wrong symbol.
