divider noise in pll

when modeling divider in pll behavioural models, what is the effect of the divide ratio on the intrinsic noise of the divider, as i know that the divide ratio increases the transfer function seen by the divider to the output , but does it affects the intrinsic noise or it is considered circuit issue and spec on it
