Hi All,

I am newbee to the signal processing domain and getting familiar on the same.
I am looking for DFT core not a FFT core (available in plenty) since I am considering 1 KHz Samples/Second (That is 20 samples/cycle) of a 50Hz signal . So my N = 20 samples to the DFT. I cannot use FFT as it requries the number of samples to be 2 to the nth power (4, 8, 16, 32,.....).

I found lot of FFT IP cores in VHDL and verilog. But could not find for DFT. Can anyone help me to find the same?

Thanks in advance.

Hi. If you are using ISE, then you can find a ready DFT core in Xilinx CORE Generator. In CORE Generator, you can find it in the IP catalog under Digital Signal Processing->Trasnforms-> DFT

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I cam across that, but unfortunately I am not using the Xilinx ISE and usnig the Actel FPGAs.
