Hi all

I've a question about diode connected MOS.

First, if diode connected MOS is n-type (NMOS),

then drain-gate is n-type & source-body is p-type.

Then, there is simple cs stage with pmos input driver & diode connected nmos load.
and then, there appears a pn diode with reverse biased.(nmos load)
Isn't it??

My question is
How's current go to gnd from vdd ??
 

The current flows through the channel diode connected nMOS.
 

ljy4468: As u said NMOS load forms reverse PN diode. I think this is only one side u have seen. With this reverse diode there is a ON channel resistance in parallel with diode.This resistance is much smaller as compared to diode reverse resistance. Thus current can flow thro it to ground.
