Hi,
I have an simple and efficient solution to your problem.
Try to get a student edition of matlab R14SP2(release 14 service pack 2)
It is available on the mathworks website.(www.mathworks.com)
install it.
type fdatool in the command prompt.
u will get a popup GUI in which u can design a filter.
u need the HDL! it's there.
quantize the filter by pressing the quantize button.
go to targets - generate hdl select verilog or vhdl
u get the code
put it in an fpga.
Time to do it? max 1-2 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

cheers
