I would like to simulate a different stacked metals structure by HFSS. Such Copper and Gold stack up.
as what I know this structure in 2.5D(ADS) siulation tool, it is not allowed. How to simulate this stacked metals structure ?

thanks a lot

this is not a problem to simulate. Just create individual 3D layers and assign the appropriate material to each. This could be done in the same way you might stack conductors and dielectrics.

Actually it is possible in ADS to simulate stack metals, you can define more substrate layers and add more strips as you want.

If you simulate in HFSS just draw the metal layers by yourself and define the materials for different layers.
