Different computer beeps when booting up

Computer beeps

Sometimes, when my computer doesnt boot up, I hear beep sounds coming from the PC's speaker. The beeps are not he same every time. Some times it is a simple long beep, some times it repeats, sometimes no beep at all.. i heard that for different errors there would be different types of beeps. can somebody explain?

Those will be described in doc for motherbard and/or bios .Can have also look to "Upgrading and Reparing PC's" .

if the beeps long i think the error in RAM
the other beeb i think VGA card
