different between .measure pdiss and .measure totalpwr?

Hello, I would like to know what is the difference between ".measure tran pdiss..." and the ".measure tran totalpwr..." in Hspice.
If I use it to single RC circuit I get the same result. If I use them to simulate circuit made of one transistor and one cap then I get "failed" when using ".measure tran pdiss...". Why?
