for calculating NF what is the difference between calculating the value of NF in v/root(hz) with v^2/(hz)

Both are almost same but in your second formula you need to root the answer after your calculation.

For Ex:
Consider v is 25 & hz is 500

for first formula
25/root(500) is 1.118033989

for second formula
25^2/500 is 1.25. So here you have to root it again so that you will get 1.118033989

Hope it solves your doubt...
