Difference Between Bias Winding and Secondary winding

Hi,
Can you please tell me,What is the difference between Bias Winding and normal Secondary winding in Flyback Transformer?

I am using Optocoupler feedback for flyback converter, and the supply for optocoupler i am taking from one of the secondary winding , not from the Bias winding.
is there any problem?

By nature of an isolated converter with feedback from the secondary side, the optocoupler LED has to be supplied by the secondary and tge transistor connected to the primary side. Nothing related to bias winding in this case. The bias winding will be however required to power the driver in a high voltage input off-mains switcher.

Bias winding is used for powering the control circuitry where as Secondary winding is required output of the converter, so for regulating the output voltage we use an opto-coupler to isolate the secondary from primary winding.
