Hi,

I had a question on two different methods for phase retrieval - atan2 and differentiate and cross multiply (DACM). Although DACM removes the phase discontinuity by differentiating the phase does it not make the system susceptible to noise due to differentiation? atan2 on the other hand can easily remove the phase discontinuity by mapping from -pi to pi
Is there any advantage of DACm over atan2?

Thanks,
Sharmi
