Data compression, aims to reduce the file size, without lost of any bits of information.
The data must be able to perfectly restore to it's original.
Example: *.zip
Audio compression, aims to reduce the file size, without lost of audio quality.
Since human's hearing performance is limited,
much audio data information can be removed without much difference.
Example is audio format *.MP3.
