cm8880 mt8880 same

Hi guys I want to know the major difference b/w MT8880 & CM8880
R they the same species
 

I think the IC are the same, but made by different company

They both are DTMF tranceivers. But, MT8880 belongs to Motorola family.They both possess the same features.
 

8880 use motorola bus

8888 use intel bus protocols.
 

MT8880 & CM8880 but NOT DM8880 which is a high voltage 7-segment decoder/driver!!
 

MT8880 :- SO2-CMOS

CM8880 :- CMOS

California Micro Devices Corp, "CMOS Integrated" #DTMF Transceiver.#

#function# same but make and "technology" is diff
