Hi everybody,
I'm simulating dielectrophoresis phenomenon by CST Studio (student version). I got a problem to mesh size, since for student version I need to have 500 CAD faces in maximum, but my model has 2432 CAD faces. How can I reduce it to 500?
I set following units & dimensions in my model:
length: um, time in us; frequency: MHz; min-max frequency: 1-5 MHz;
substrate: 2x4x1 mm^3, material type: silicon
plate: 11.2x24x0.005 mm^3, material type: gold
200 micro-strips (golden) with inter-distance: 0.04 mm & dimension of each micro-strip: 0.02x0.04x0.005 mm^3
ports (feeder): 4.4x1.6x0.005 mm^3, material type: copper
fluid: water with relative permittivity: 78; conductivity: 0.003 S/m
I attached the shape of my model.
Thanks a lot for your reply and help in advance.
Best regards,
