book on dielectric resonator

Hi!
How could I obtain dielectric resonator model for a DR Oscillator simulation?
Thanks.

dielectric resonator model

It's a puck dielectric resonator.
Er=43.5
D=6.3mm
H=2.7mm
Q=5000 @9GHz
It will be coupled to a microstip line to RF transistor and to another microstipline for varactor tunning.
Can you help me?
Thanks

Hi,

I don't think it will be easy to explain this in an email, I think you should do some reading first. There is an excelent book Dielectric Resonators by D. Kajfez. You can also get some usefull information from these papers.

there are 2 appnotes from (formerly) Siemens, author Gerhard Lohninger

"Silicon Bipolar-Dielectric Resonator Oscillator (DRO) at 10 GHz"
"A 15 GHz GaAs-FET Buffered Oscillator"

you could dl them from

hope this helps.
