Diameter of PQ3535 former

Hi,
We are trying to work out the diameter of the PQ3535 bobbin, drawing shown on page 3 of the datasheet (below).
Would you say it is 75mm/pi = 23.87mm?

There is a number given as 14.7mm, but this does not appear to be the actual diameter?

look harder - it is plainly given as 14.4 mm

It's cool that FvM dug up the dimension. I didnt take the route that FVM took though. However, I got approx the same figure. I did some calculation based on the dimensions given on the datasheet you presented and I got 16.3mm for the OD.

the diameter of PQ3535 can be easily find using digital varineir caliper. its about 14.4mm
or 1.44cm.

I did some calculation based on the dimensions given on the datasheet you presented and I got 16.3mm for the OD.
Just to show what I did.

Average length of turn MLT = 75mm ...(1)
MLT = (circumference of rim + circumference of bobbin)/2 ...(2)
Dia of Rim = 31.4mm
Therefore circumference of rim = π×(dia of rim) = π×31.4mm = 98.64mm ...(3)
Substituting (1) and (3) in (2) and solving for circumference of bobbin,
circumference of bobbin = (2×75mm) - 98.64mm = 51.35mm
Diameter of bobbin = (circumference of bobbin)/π = 51.35mm/π = 16.3mm
