DIAC hard question ... maybe

Can someone tell me please if the "DIAC" is a 3 or a 5 layer semiconductor?

Both variants exist. Here is a good explanation, but in german:

"Zweirichtungsdiode" is the 3 layer variant,
"Zweirichtungs-Thyristordiode" is the 5 layer variant

I found that page but I also see in the

document

that there is a name for the 5 layer ----> " SIDAC "

and lot of page refer to it as the only " DIAC " device without any reference to
the 3 layer one .
