Filter circuit for audio

Hi all,
I am designing one circuit (as a hobby) to amplify the audio of fan. I expect the sound signal will be around 0-8kHz. But when I feed this signal as such to loudspeaker, I am hearing some trebles, noises etc...

So we need a filter... my questions are like this?

1. is simply providing can help in filtering out noise?
2, if filter is the ideal, which filter would be good to use?

Treble sounds are from about 1kHz to 20kHz. The range from 1kHz to 8kHz is from your fan and cannot be filtered out or you will be filtering out treble sounds from your fan.

Maybe the noises you hear is acoustical feedback howling where the microphone hears sounds from the speaker and the sounds go around and around.
